FileMaker Pro voted 'Best Business Software' by Software Publishers Association

SAN JOSE, Calif., March 30, 1998 -- FileMaker Pro, the easy-to-use relational database software for desktop-to-web, won two of the software industry's highest honors at the Software Publishers Association (SPA) 1998 Excellence in Software Awards here last week.

The SPA voted FileMaker Pro Best Business Software and Best Numeric or Data Business Software. In winning the prestigious Best Business Software Codie Award, FileMaker Pro defeated Microsoft Excel 97, Microsoft FrontPage 98, Microsoft Word 97 and two other nominees.
